I have now bought a commuter bike which I am planning to use at least a couple of times a week.
Each day this would be about 6 Miles (10km) of cycling to work but on the way back I may add a few more miles. This may not be much but it is more cycling miles which should hopefully add to my cycle fitness.
I've found that cycling to work and back has really helped my cycling fitness :) And its a great way to miss all the horrible traffic!
ReplyDeleteIt was only a total of 8 miles adding a few on the way back. It did provide some extra resistance due to the extra weight carrying in the bike bags.
ReplyDeleteIt was only a few minutes longer than driving due to the traffic and cycle paths.
I just need to get my new bike's gears adjusted as they are not correctly changing.
